ABOUT Benjamin Fitton

Creator, Narrator, Researcher and Writer of The Lost Boys Of Wineville.

I’m a storyteller at heart, drawn to the depths of real-life narratives—the kind that linger long after the final word and leave you wondering, how did this happen? As the co-creator of the UK True Crime Podcast, They Walk Among Us, I explore the darker corners of life with care, curiosity, and an unwavering commitment to truth.

I found my calling in podcasting—especially the type of storytelling that’s immersive, challenging, and often uncomfortably honest. I believe that true crime deserves more than sensational headlines; it demands context, empathy, and a deep respect for those affected.

My approach is simple: no glamorising, no shock tactics—just detailed, thoughtful stories told with real humanity.

I live in Northamptonshire with my wife and two cats. I've been podcasting professionally since 2016, but when I’m not writing, recording, or editing, you’ll likely find me watching documentaries, getting lost in a good book over a cup of tea, or taking long walks to clear my mind. I also help local charities and enjoy cooking and, when time allows, repairing guitars—there's something meditative in working with your hands after a day immersed in the complexities of crime and justice.

For me, storytelling isn’t about answers—it’s about asking better questions. And in a world full of noise, I aim to create something that invites people to pause, listen, and think a little deeper.
